Police arrested a Silver Creek man on Thursday on theft by conversion charges involving a leased Nissan Altima on March 26, reports state.

According to Floyd òòò½ÊÓƵ Jail reports:

Barry Durale Davis, 64, is charged with felony theft by conversion after he legally leased a 2024 black Nissan Altima, valued at $23,000, and converted the property for his personal use, violating the lease. Davis also did not return the car within five days of being notified of the demanded return.

Davis remained in jail on $101,000 bond as of Friday.
