U.S. Army officials arrested a man Wednesday at Fort Leonard Wood in connection with a homicide investigation in Fayetteville, North Carolina, according to a from the Fayetteville Police Department.

Tyrique Zavier Leroy Williams, 26, was identified as a suspect in the disappearance and alleged murder of 27-year-old Annie Lock, who was last seen in August 2024. Lock was reported missing in October 2024; her remains were found about six months later, on April 13.

Williams faces charges of first-degree murder and concealment of death.

According to Fayetteville police, officials with the Army's Criminal Investigation Division arrested Williams at Fort Leonard Wood and took him to the Pulaski òòò½ÊÓÆµ Jail, where he will await extradition proceedings.

Fort Leonard Wood confirmed that Williams was attending basic combat training with the 35th Engineer Battalion.
