BOUNDARY COUNTY, Idaho òòò½ÊÓÆµ“ÌýTwo people in Bonners Ferry were arrested for alleged sexual offenses against children, prompting an investigation by deputies.Ìý

According to the Boundary òòò½ÊÓÆµ Sheriff's Office, deputies are investigating reports of sexual offenses against minors involving Richard Cowell III, 54, and Katherine Cowell, 50. The couple, both from Bonners Ferry, were arrested on Feb. 5. Deputies said that they are urging anyone with relevant information to come forward.

"The safety and well-being of children in Boundary òòò½ÊÓÆµ is our utmost priority," said Boundary òòò½ÊÓÆµ Sheriff Travis Stolley. "We understand that these situations are incredibly sensitive and that children may be afraid to come forward. We are committed to thoroughly investigating these reports and holding those responsible accountable. We want to assure anyone who has been affected that they will be treated with respect and compassion."
