A West Rome trio is facing armed robbery charges after they tried to rob a man of his $4,500 French bulldog at his home on Burnett Ferry Road on Thursday night, reports state.

According to Floyd òòò½ÊÓƵ Jail reports:

Edgardo Funez-Lazario, 21; Orlando Emilio Hernandez, 17; and Cesar Steven Portillo-Rivas, 17, are charged with felony aggravated assault, armed robbery and misdemeanor battery when they pistol-whipped the victim.

Portillo-Rivas is also charged with obstruction because he ran from police when they stopped him for questioning.

All three remained in the Floyd òòò½ÊÓƵ Jail without bond as of Friday.
