The Easter holiday is one many in the local community hold dear and passionately celebrate each year. Riverside Churchòòò½ÊÓƵ™s Easter events are set to bring thousands of participants together in worship and celebration.
The churchòòò½ÊÓƵ™s Easter Eggstravaganza event was scheduled for Saturday at the Victoria Fine Arts Center field from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. The event will feature a massive egg hunt for kids of all ages with over 28,000 eggs to find. Food trucks and large inflatables generously provided by local businesses will also be available to the public.
Riverside Churchòòò½ÊÓƵ™s Easter Eggstravaganza is estimated to bring in between 2,000 and 3,000 attendees, making it an opportune moment for the church to extend an invite to their Easter Sunday services the following day, Allyson Field, creative production at Riverside Church, said.
òòò½ÊÓƵœWe have a lot of community partners wanting to make this a successful event,òòò½ÊÓƵ Field said. òòò½ÊÓƵœWeòòò½ÊÓƵ™re expecting a large turnout, which is why we want to do our best to make it as safe as possible for all of the kiddos.òòò½ÊÓƵ
The church will hold two services on Easter Sunday at the Victoria Fine Arts Center, one at 8:30 a.m. and the other at 10:30 a.m., as well as a specific service for the kids. In previous years, the church held a single Sunday service, bringing in roughly 1,500 attendees. Both services are expected to be full with a total of around 3,000 attendees.

In addition to the expected 3,000 total attendees at Riverside Churchòòò½ÊÓƵ™s Sunday Services, the church has assembled a large team of volunteers to make its Easter events and services possible, Field said.
òòò½ÊÓƵœWe really want everyone to feel welcomed and know that they have a place here to be comfortable, worship, come with their family on Easter and celebrate what itòòò½ÊÓƵ™s all about,òòò½ÊÓƵ Field said.
