The Victoria College Foundation surpassed its previous Giving Tuesday fundraising efforts, raising more than $5,750 in support of JPƵs Market during this yearƵs one-day giving campaign.
The funds raised, including a $5,000 donation from the TDECU Cares Foundation, will directly benefit the food pantry and clothing closet located in the Student Services Building on VCƵs Main Campus. JPƵs Market provides nonperishable food items, toiletries, and hygiene items to any VC student experiencing food insecurity.

Part of the funds were raised at a Giving Tuesday event at Texas Roadhouse, where diners were able to donate 20 percent of their bill to support JPƵs Market.
